This is a Filipino dish. It consists of a sort of beans, normally with other vegetables like ampalaya(I don’t know if it has an English name) and meat. However this doesn’t have a lot of vegetables and the meat was replaced by shrimps. There wasn’t a problem making this as my mom had everything planed out, and had already gotten all the ingredients. I was glad the outcome came out good, and I’m proud to have known how to make one Filipino dish. I was intimidated at first,I had no experience cooking something like this, or anything that’s being cooked in a huge pot. It was awkward at the beginning, I had not cooked with my mom and this is the first. With this meal, I think I need to improve on my knife skills. I found that I was terrible at it, and had almost cut myself with how I was improperly holding the vegetable. Which I was trying to cut.
