In my Connecting Media and Psychological Disorder Mind Map Assignment with the song “3005” by Childish Gambino, three core competencies demonstrated were: 

Analytical Thinking: I analyzed the lyrics of the song to identify themes related to psychological disorders and explored the emotional depth portrayed in the song “3005” by Childish Gambino. 

Research Skills: I researched psychological disorders to understand their symptoms, causes, and impacts. This helped me make connections between the song lyrics and real-life mental health issues. 

Creative Expression: I used my creativity to visually represent the connections between the song and psychological disorders through the mind map. I incorporated colours, symbols, and illustrations to enhance the presentation. 

What core competencies did you demonstrate with the Research Assignment? 

The core competency demonstrated with the research assignment was critical thinking, I needed to get answers from people for my hypothesis to figure out if it supported or contradicted my hypothesis and then analyze the information I received by making a conclusion at the end of my research with what I got and how.
