Socials 10 – September 21st

Good morning everyone! Happy last full day of summer! Luckily we finally have clear skies again to enjoy it a little bit more. Today we are going to keep going with Human Geography as we are going to work hard to finish off the unit this week.

Two things to keep in mind for this week:

  1. Assignment due on Wednesday, September 23rd which we will go over today
  2. Human Geography Quiz on Thursday (or Friday depending on the letter of your last name for block 2).

Here is what we are working on today?:

  1. Current events in seminar – everything is happening! Today you will be grouped up for a few minutes, and every group will share their story that they brought in
  2. The Demographic Transition Model and Population Pyramids –> We will define and draw both, and show how they relate to different countries around the world
  3. Begin to work on a Demography Assignment which will be due on Wednesday. There will be lots of class time to get going on this so don’t worry!
