Explanation / Brief History: Exeter is a small village in England that was founded in 1892. The man who discovered it wanted to build a small town that consisted of many buildings, skyscrapers and public parks. Which ended up failing because he didn’t have the funds for it. Instead, he built a small village with a couple of cabins and mini-homes. Exeter is known worldwide for having the best drinking water in the world. Many tourists come here just to try the water. Recently there was a hotel built a few kilometers away from the town for tourists and visitors.

Media Fluency Reflection

Honestly building this town was pretty simple and fun. My original plan was to use Fortnite to build my town, but I decided to use Minecraft because it shows more detail and its also more enjoyable.

Yes, I read the package and the steps a few times just to have a good idea of what the assignment is mainly about. I also struggled a bit at the start because I didn’t have a very good idea of what I wanted to to with the design. After I built a few things, it was a lot easier to continue and finish it.

I didn’t really research much, I got a good idea of what I wanted to do with the design when Mr. Purdy showed us other kids assignments. Then I made my design and after that, I used the look of the town to answer the information part of the package.

I don’t think so, Fortnite could have been good and that was actually my original idea. However, I decided to use Minecraft because it shows more detail and makes everything look better. Minecraft does take much longer than other things, but I wanted to make a design that looked like it took a lot of time and effort.
