Breakfast Home Lab

I rate my breakfast lab 5 out 5 because it was fun to make and it tasted very good. the recipes that I had were not very hard to make but it took a lot of time to make because it had to be in the oven for a long time. The smoothie that I make was a layered smoothie that tasted very good and I would totally try to make that again. The nutrition of my receipts were good and the smoothie was make from frozen fruit, a little bit of milk and ice so that smoothie is for sure healthy. I would totally make this again but I would like to try to put different vegetables in it next time.

Potato Hash

I rate my potato hash 5 out 5 because it was really easy to make and it was delicious. The safety concerns for this recipe is the oven. the nutrition for this hash is totally up to you and what you want to put in it. I think the nutrition for my hash was very good. I chose those ingredients because I thought they would taste good together. It totally met my product standards. The challenge of this this dish is making sure that you don’t cook it too much that it burns. The process of making this hash was not very hard but the one thing that I would say you have to do is keep an eye on it at all times so nothing thing you put in it burns, or else out won’t taste the same. The clean up for this dish was good my and my partner 3worked well together so we got it down pretty fast and there wasn’t a lot of dishes to wash. I would make this again and I would keep the exact same ingredients because I thought it tasted really good.

Veggie Frittata

I rate my veggie frittata 5 out of 5 because it was really good and the process to make it was not that hard. I learned that frittata’s originate from Italy. The methods that we use in the recipe is egg cookery, and knife skills. To cook a frittata you have to boil it which means that it gets direct heat at a higher temperature. I don’t think there was any challenges to make this frittata. The product standards are colourful and the eggs are cooked the way you want. I would say that my frittata met those product standards. I would totally eat this again but I would put different veggies in it if I make it again.

Basic Crepes with Apple Filling

I rate the crepes and filling that I made 4 out of 5. I learned that if you put too much or too little of the batter then it will not turn out like you want at all. Making the filling was a success because it looked and smelled good and tasted very good. On the other hang, the crepes was a challenge for me and my partner. When we were trying to make the crepes we would also put too much or too little and they did not turn out at all how we wanted it. I don’t think that we met the product standards on this but it did taste good and the only bad part about everything was making the crepes. I don’t think I will make these again.

Shakshuka with Feta

I rate my Shakshuka with Feta 4 out 5. I learnt that coriander is made from dried cilantro. The method that we used to make this recipe was egg cookery, knife skills, and sauté veggies. This Shakshuka dish is originated from North Africa and Israel. If you wanted you could also add basil, lime, mushrooms to the Shakshuka. This was a success for me and my partner and I think the whole process was very smooth. The product standards for this was flavourful, looks good, and tender eggs, and I think my Shakshuka made all of those product standards. I do think I would make this again but I would add different things in it.

Breakfest Sandwich

I rated my breakfast sandwich 3.5 out of 5. the method that I used is the biscuit method for the scones. The skills that I used for this was the oven so I could bake the scones and making the egg on the stove. I also had to cook my bacon on the stove. The success with this recipe was the scones did not break on me so I was able to put all the fillings inside. Also I finished everything on time so I didn’t have to rush anything. The only challenge that I had was making the bacon because I was trying to do my bacon and watch the scones at the same time so the bacon was a bit over cooked. it still tasted good. I don’t think I would make the type of sandwich I did again but I would like to try a new one.

Fried Egg

I rated the fried egg I made a 5 out of 5 because I really enjoyed eating it and the process was very smooth. I learnt how to make a fried egg, before this I have never made or tried a fried egg. The success of this recipe that it turned out good and it didn’t take long to make. The challenge for me with making a fried egg was that I didn’t know how it was supposed to look so I kind of winged it and just flipped it when I thought it was ready. I think my egg meet the product standards because the old was whole and how I wanted it and it was golden brown. I would totally make this again at home.
