Greek Week

I rate what I made for greek week a 5 out of 5. I was going to make peta bread but I thought we had all the ingredients the day we made everything but we didn’t so we I could not make the bread. In my opinion the Greek salad was the best and that’s what I had the most of. The sauce was also amazing but I usually eat it with the chicken and I didn’t like the chicken that much but I think that was because we put a bit too much mustard and I don’t like mustard. The only thing that I would change for next time is how much mustard I put in the chicken and everything else was so goo that I wouldn’t change anything else. The process was 2 days but I liked it better because there was less to do in one day and less to clean up so I thought that was nice. Next time I make greek food I would love to make the bread because I think that would be way better so we can wrap the chicken in it and put any other veggies in there.

Breakfast Home Lab

I rate my breakfast lab 5 out 5 because it was fun to make and it tasted very good. the recipes that I had were not very hard to make but it took a lot of time to make because it had to be in the oven for a long time. The smoothie that I make was a layered smoothie that tasted very good and I would totally try to make that again. The nutrition of my receipts were good and the smoothie was make from frozen fruit, a little bit of milk and ice so that smoothie is for sure healthy. I would totally make this again but I would like to try to put different vegetables in it next time.

Potato Hash

I rate my potato hash 5 out 5 because it was really easy to make and it was delicious. The safety concerns for this recipe is the oven. the nutrition for this hash is totally up to you and what you want to put in it. I think the nutrition for my hash was very good. I chose those ingredients because I thought they would taste good together. It totally met my product standards. The challenge of this this dish is making sure that you don’t cook it too much that it burns. The process of making this hash was not very hard but the one thing that I would say you have to do is keep an eye on it at all times so nothing thing you put in it burns, or else out won’t taste the same. The clean up for this dish was good my and my partner 3worked well together so we got it down pretty fast and there wasn’t a lot of dishes to wash. I would make this again and I would keep the exact same ingredients because I thought it tasted really good.

Breakfest Sandwich

I rated my breakfast sandwich 3.5 out of 5. the method that I used is the biscuit method for the scones. The skills that I used for this was the oven so I could bake the scones and making the egg on the stove. I also had to cook my bacon on the stove. The success with this recipe was the scones did not break on me so I was able to put all the fillings inside. Also I finished everything on time so I didn’t have to rush anything. The only challenge that I had was making the bacon because I was trying to do my bacon and watch the scones at the same time so the bacon was a bit over cooked. it still tasted good. I don’t think I would make the type of sandwich I did again but I would like to try a new one.

Banana Muffins

I rated the banana muffins 5 out of 5 because they were easy to make and they were so delicious. The method that I used to make these muffins was muffin method and flour mixture. The skills that you need for this recipe is just with the oven. I learnt that gluten contains groups of protein and it is found on flour. Other things you can add in these muffins are chocolate or blueberry. These muffins were a great success and I would totally do it again. These muffins met the product standards because they were fluffy and they were golden brown when they came out of the oven.

Scones

I rate these scones 4 out 5 stars because they were easy to make and they were really good but they probably not on the healthier side. The method that we used to make these scones was the biscuit method. The only skills that you will need for he receive is to use the oven, the rest of the recipe is simple. I think my scones turned our pretty good, they were nice and flaky in the middle and they were nice and moist. The only challenge for me during this recipe was when we were making them they weren’t cooking properly in the oven so it took a but longer to make then anybody else’s. the best part of this lab was getting to put a filling in it.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

I rate these cookies 4 out of 5. These are the cookies that I made at school in class. This was the first thing that I baked this year in class and it was the best cookie I have ever had. We made these cookies so we can get back in the feel of baking and find where all the supples is. I liked making these cookies because it had a simple recipe and they are probably more healthy then some of the ones you can get somewhere else. I would totally make these cookies again with my family and friends.

Most Memorable Food Experience

The most memorable food experience that I had was at my house with my friend. We were trying to make cookies and the receipt said to put 2 teaspoons of salt, but I thought it said 2 table spoons. So not knowing that I was doing it wrong I put the 2 table spoons of salt in and the dough and it looked perfectly fine. So we put it in the oven and let in bake. What we didn’t know is that my oven didn’t work at the time so we kept trying to bake it for another 5 min but it wasn’t baking. So we took the cookies out of the oven and they looked so delicious, so we tried them. They were probably the worst cookies I have ever had.
