Cooking a German Meal with English Dessert

Schnitzel with potato salad
Trifle

I made this all from online recipes, including the pound cake needed for the trifle.

When making this I just jumped into it not knowing much, I just hoped it would go well. I planned for my meal to be a journey of an educational experience. The pork ended up crispy like its supposed to be, the meat was cooked all the way through, soft and chewy. The potato salad tasted amazing, the bacon was crispy, the potato’s soft, onions glazed, with some parsley. The trifle was hard to layer but tasted so sweet and delicious, the cake wasn’t as soft as i wanted but was still yummy, I shouldn’t have let it cook as long. I think I could have used more seasoning because the pork was kind of bland. I believe i showed skills in confidence, knife skills and baking goods. This dish and dessert are connected to me because the schnitzel is German along with the potato salad, the trifle is English, I am both of these.
