MAK Valley

Communication Reflection

For this project, the idea was to use an app or a website to make our very own Utopian City. Me and my group came together to produce wondrous idea’s that we all thought is critical. This project is us achieving and creating our Utopia or what we think is our visionary city. I and the other two members of my group concluded it was best for us to use the website “City Creator” to make our Utopian city, for it would take too long to use the other programs that were discussed. As a group, we were able to communicate clearly amongst the three of us which led us into picking our name for the city “MAK Valley” which is the letter of our first names. Together the three of us were able to determine the things we appreciate and are significant to us. We also all came together to design ideas on how we’re going to make our City. While I assembled the city in the program Kayla and Makana provided visual ideas to me. We all found ways to contribute to our project, we used our time efficiently and productively. We also only faced one problem in my opinion which was figuring out a name for our Utopian City. I think that we all worked amazingly together.

Reflection

a) I was able to identify everything easily in my town my zero trouble. With the physical geography everything was also really easy.

b) Using my laptop and google i was able to do my project easily was no trouble at all. Pros with using maphub was that it’s an easy site to use everything is pretty self explanatory and I had a video to go show how it works. For cons there aren’t any in my opinion.

c) Yes I’m happy with how everything turned out.

My bio

Hi, my name is Ashley, I’m in grade 9 some words that describe me are kind, silly, creative, and energetic. Somethings I look forward to this year are getting to meet new people and befriending them, and some art classes. I like to express myself by either listening to music or writing some of my favourite music artist are Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion, and Nicki Minaj. I love baking and cooking my favourite things to make are chocolate cake, fudge brownies, blueberry lemon muffins and some lemon pie for baking and things I like to make for cooking are chicken fried rice, sushi, and some lasagna. Some of the best ways for me to show you what I know is by projects, creating a poster, and making a timeline table. I use to do dance but I quit this year do too Covid-19 it use to take a lot of my time but now I so much free time I don’t know what to do. My favourite colours are bright red and baby blue i think both the colours are nice and vibrant.

I chose this photo because I’m a huge fan of marvel, I’ve watched all the movies, and seeing as it also has a bunch of my favourite characters in it.
