Whats the Word Around Town – Whistler

Reflection

For me, it was fairly easy to research and collect information for my town and how geography impacted it, since a lot of the information I needed was in my notes and I could always search facts on the internet or ask for help from Mr. Wilkinson for further clarification. When I built my project in a backwards design, I would brainstorm first to imagine what my town would need in future buildings or stores based on the physical landforms and vegetation/climate. I would think that if I was a tourist in my town, what things would I want to make my visit more convienient and fun? I then built off that question to decide what the future in my town could look like. I was satisfied with my result in this project, I think it turned out well and I put thought into my work which I’m proud of. If I redid this assignment, I would probably try to organize my notes more and which ones were relevant to me, since I found it slightly difficult finding the information I needed when it wasn’t organized properly.
