Broccoli Cheese Soup

This lab we made our first cream soup. We prepped the vegetables the day before and did all the steps right up until we added the cream. This aloud us to have a lot more time for all the steps that needed to be done. The next day we added the cream and milk and puréed the soup with the hand held blender. We also used the other half of the rustic bread we had made back with our shakshuka. We buttered and broiled it in the oven for that extra bet of crunch.

For not being a big fan of soup, I really enjoyed this one a lot. It was creamy and cheesy, it wasn’t clumpy or to thick. It was the perfect consistency. My group members and I got used to working with one another and executed this lab well. I gave myself a 5 on this lab because the product standards were met and my group worked well.
