About Me

My Bio

Hi, My name is Carlos and I am a grade 9 student as of this post. Some words that describe me are helpful, smart and funny. I like to express myself in words and music. I am good at and enjoy math and science in school. I enjoy playing instruments like the guitar and playing video games. Also, when I am bored, I like to watch Netflix or read a book to entertain myself. I am not good at arts like drawing and painting, so I would like to get better at those. Some sports I like to play are basketball and baseball. This year, I hope to get better at cooking and using computers.

My Favourite Website

https://www.youtube.com/

I really like using YouTube because of the versatility and things you can find there. I like how you can find the videos that you want to watch, whether that be learning something new, casually watching something in your spare time, and even post videos on your interests for others to see. Personally, I mainly use YouTube for entertainment but sometimes I use tutorials for math, cooking or other areas.

My Favourite Video

Kawhi Leonard sinks a fadeaway at the final buzzer to end the 76ers season

This is a video of Game 7 of the NBA playoffs last year where Kawhi Leonard won the game for his team with an insane shot at the last buzzer, which advanced them to the Eastern Conference Finals. This is my favourite video because I remember watching it and seeing the insane fadeaway that put the Raptors just over the 76ers. This video represents a goal that I have to practice shots from farther away and expand from just layups.

My Favourite Image

Steaks with Garlic Butter and Potatoes

This is my favourite image because I really like steaks and have made some before, but i would like to make steaks that look as good as the one above. Another reason I like this picture because I would like to expand to doing other cuts of meat that have more flavour or are harder to cut, for example, butcher’s cuts.

My Favourite Quote

“If people just took it a day at a time, they’d be a lot happier.”

― Richard Bachman

I like this quote because it has a lot of truth to it. It is meaningful to me because I try and live my life one day at a time and it makes me more happy because I am not stressing about tomorrow.
