My Reflection
a. Was I able to identify how the geography impact the town / city with ease? How was I able to find how the physical geography impacted these areas?
I was able to identify the the impact that geography has on Kelowna with relative ease. I was able to find this without struggle mostly by looking at the notes that I took in class and by using credible websites to solidify my information.
b. How did the technology personally affect my learning? What were the pros and cons of using maphub.com?
This technology affected my learning in a very positive way. I was able to organize my thoughts and ideas into a visually appealing format using maphub.com. A pro of using maphub.com is that all of the tools are easy to find and make the map look very good with the markers and paths. I think that it makes it a lot easier to organize thoughts and points with all the colours and marker images. The only negative that I can think of is that you have to find coordinates on Google Maps to find a specific location.
c. Were you satisfied with the result of your design and solutions?
I was very satisfied with the way my project turned out and I thought it was interesting to learn a new way to make a map.
d. How would you refine your assignment in the future?
I would refine my assignment by resizing the pictures to make them all the same size and centre the image.
