Natural Selection Critical Thinking Self-Assessment

This picture was from the feeding frenzy lab, each group had to rotate between different “Environment” demonstrating survival of the fittest. Each person had a different tool to help them fill their stomachs in the environment. I had a fork which was really good in the noodle environment and very bad in the sugar environment. I was able to pick up all the noodles by twisting them in my fork and filling my stomach. I had to adapt to the sugar environment because the sugar was falling through the holes in the fork. i adapted by scooping up sugar and stabbing my opponents hands with the sharp fork. Stabbing my opponents gave me an advantage because it slowed them down so i was able to get more without them in the way. I demonstrated i can make predictions based on evidence when i would walk up to a new environment i knew who was going to fill their stomach. I was able to strategize my game plan if i knew i was going to succeed in the environment or not. By looking at the sugar environment i knew the chopsticks weren’t going to do well, the spoon would succeed the most so i would stab the person with the spoon.
