https://www.canva.com/design/DAFC3rbf1ng/lPPEW0CEAN30pAAinG4mxw/watch

The project went well, I enjoyed the creative freedom in making the videos.  I found it difficult to find pictures that properly showcased the course outline. I only made one video. I enjoyed making the metal one the most it was easiest to make appealing. I learned how to use Canva.

The Importance Of Feedback

My Logo

Reflection on Competencies and Content

One of the best ways to improve a product is to get the feedback and response from the public, it gives you a good idea of the reaction your product or service will get, as well as a variety of ways to improve it and make changes to better suit your target markets needs and desires. An important skill to have is also how to effectively give feedback to others and not cross the line between constructive criticism and plain criticism. The T.A.G format is a great way to practice and have an outline to guide you in giving feedback, it stands for Tell, Ask, Give. You tell them one thing you like about their work, Ask a question about their work and then Give them one thing to improve on.

Core Competency Reflection

I can identify and describe my qualities.

I demonstrated this core competency when I reflected on things I enjoy and am interested in, Then showcased this in my logo.

I can represent my learning and tell how it connects to my experiences.

I could work on better connecting my learning to my experiences and life, because I generally think of it as a very separate thing from the rest of my life. I am working on this because I want my education to reflect into the way i present myself and in life. I am going to accomplish this by making sure to keep this goal in the back of my mind at all time and remember what it means to me and how I value it.

English 11 Poetry Reflection

My Poem

This is the poem i wrote about one of my favourite fruits, the pomegranate.

Curricular Competencies Reflection

The purpose of this poem was to show the beauty and depth in every day things that are often looked over, it shows that everything in our every day lives has a underlying meaning. This poem was directed to anyone who would be interested in becoming more connected to beautiful things in their life, This poem is personal to me because I always thought pomegranates were really unique and beautiful fruit. I planned this poem out by first deciding to use a Shakespearean rhyme scheme for the structure of the poem, and made sure to incorporate many poetic devices. In order to paint a better picture in this poem I used as many descriptive words as I could.

Creative Thinking Core Competency Reflection.

I chose the topic for my poem by thinking about my favourite food or fruit and vegetable because of Pablo Neruda‘s poems. I formed my own original idea to create the poem by thinking about how it felt to look at feel and eat pomegranates. A strategy that really helped stimulate my imagination was to follow a rhyme scheme because if I had to rhyme the last word it was easier to find what to say. Something innovative about my poem was I talked about how the pomegranate affected me and how I feel they are not worth all the work it takes to get to enjoy them. I could work on trying to use more complex poetic devices.

Marketing and Promotion Core Competency February

“I can recognize my strengths and take responsibility for using strategies to focus, manage stress, and accomplish my goals”.
I demonstrated this core competency this month when I was making and presenting my Marketing P assignment because I recognized public speaking is not necessarily one of my strengths so I managed my stress by making sure I was as prepared as possible.
