Bannana Loaf

I made a Banana loaf. I had bananas that were over ripe, so I used them to make something new. I saw them in the fridge, so I decided to use them to bake a cake. The recipe I used is from Company’s Coming. As, I lightly stirred to only moisten the wet ingredients with the dry to not over mix. Over mixing can ruin the loaf. I smelled the banana’s in the air as the loaf cooked. I turned on the oven light, so I could take a peek while it was cooking. It was starting to puff and rise up. When the oven went off, I put my oven mitts on and took it out of the oven. It had a golden brown top and soft splitting that trailed through the middle of it. I could feel the heat radiating off of it. It looked just as good as it tasted. I added some chocolate chips in, to jazz it up. The warm milk chocolate and moist loaf melted in my mouth. I would definitely make this loaf again, I already changed a few measurements while cooking, so I would not change what was changed. I did not have a challenge, I followed the recipe step by step and did not rush it. I did learn that banana bread takes a hour to cook, I did not know it takes that long, but it is a thick batter in a small loaf pan. My greatest success would have to be the end result, It tastes so moist and light. I am most proud of my work efforts and making a pretty good loaf I can eat for breakfast tomorrow.
