Scones – Safety and Sanitation

Making Scones was my third lab. They went really well for me to make, I made the scones with Max. What went really well for me was combining the dry and wet ingredients. What was a bit difficult for both of us was knowing where all the kitchen wear is. Safety: Oven is the only thing you need to be cautious about. Your phone is also one of them, make sure it’s not near your cooking station. (doesn’t get dirty and so the food doesn’t get contaminated). Which brings me to sanitation: You want to first take off your hoodie, and tie up your hair. you do this because u don’t want your hair in your dish, that way it won’t get contaminated again. You wear an apron so you don’t get your clothes dirty.

Sanitation is very important; One because the food could get contaminated and second you could get a fever or flu if it gets contaminated.
