Media Fluency Reflection

1) How was the ease of access in building your flipbook, despite this being the free and limited version of the software?

I like how you can use it on your laptop, or computer but I couldn’t access it on my phone. Usually I forget to bring a laptop and use my phone but it didn’t work. This is why I used Powerpoint, a platform I’m used using.

2) Were you able to apply the skills you learned in the planning stages appropriately to a digital environment?

I put the facts on the Powerpoint slide and later made it into a proper sentence. I didn’t use much skills.

3) What were the sources you researched that made this an “authentic make-believe” American Revolution flipbook?

I got information from class notes and sheets. I completely ignored Wikipedia and tried using secured websites. I went back to the videos Mr. King posted on teams too.

4) Is there other software online that could have done the job better? Did you use another software instead? Explain.

I did use another software called Powerpoint. I actually did my Flipbook on Powerpoint because I know how to use the platform and I find it easier to work with. I did tryout FlipSnack but I liked using a simple software I’m used to.
