Media Fluency Reflection

  1. How was the ease of access in building your flipbook, despite this being the free and limited version of the software?  While making this flipbook I found it very hard, the program kept crashing and the saving feature did not work that well. I was constantly losing work so in the end, some of my flip cards had to be redone several times.
  1. Were you able to apply the skills you learned in the planning stages appropriately to a digital environment?   Yes I was able to apply skills I used from other programs to figure out how to properly use Flipsnack. I also took the information on my ruff draft and figured out a way to make it work and look good on Flipsnack.
  1. What were the sources you researched that made this an “authentic make-believe” American Revolution flipbook?  I used Wikipedia, History and a couple other smaller sites, for names and pictures. When I used more then one source I was able to make sure the information was correct.
  1. Is there other software online that could have done the job better? Did you use another software instead? Explain.  I think power point might have been easier in the end. I decided to stay with Flipsnack because I had never used it before and I thought I should do something new. In the end I don’t think I would use Flipsnack again because my experience was not the greatest, from all the technical difficulty’s and its not the best unless you pay money which I would never want to do.
