Name something that you learned during this experience that you would use again. 

I learned that the purpose of a citation is to provide support or evidence for what you are saying; it tells the reader or the audience where the support or evidence can be found. I would use this again if I were doing a presentation.

What online strategies/tools did you find helpful in creating your citations? 

An online strategy or tool that I found helpful in creating citations was Destiny Discover and Citation Machine. I found these helpful because they autocompleted the citations for me. So if I needed to find a website I could go back to my citations.

What types of sources did you find helpful in researching your speech topic? 

I found that peer-reviewed journals, webpages, forums and blogs were helpful in researching my research topic.

What could you improve on for research next time? 

I could improve on looking for more websites. I would be able to choose from several websites, which would lead to more information being found and make my speech more interesting to listen to.

Reflection

My visual representation is innovative to me because I included realistic pictures to describe me and what I do outside of school. While working on this project, I generated and developed my ideas by writing out a self profile. From there I developed new ideas while typing, and looking back at my self profile. When it came to making the photo collage, I generated an idea by sending pictures from my phone to the laptop. So I could have personalization within the collage, so I didn’t have to spend time searching up photos from the internet. I enjoyed that we were given the privilege to work on any platform that we were comfortable with. For next time I would want to improve my writing piece because I only wrote about my extracurricular activities, I would’ve typed more about my personal life. I learned that my creative ability can expand once I’m given an idea or something work off of. Once I start something, I can generate new possibilities, ideas, or alternatives; as I work.
