Cooking at home #6 family traditions

For my family tradition cooking at home, I made black bean zucchini stir fry. I also added some wontons and leftover fried rice to make it a full meal. I wouldn’t say this was titled a tradition but it was a common food in my family. I didn’t use a recipe I just learned from my mom and she helped me when I had issues. This tasted really good, I love black bean sauce and even though zucchini isn’t my favourite the sauce makes it taste so good. It also makes the whole house smell good. The wontons, the broth, and the fried rice also smelt really good and the flavours went together really well. I don’t like really soft food so I made sure to not overcook the vegetables or wontons. I had a little problem when I added the black bean sauce into the stir fry and it got dry and lumpy so my mom told me I just needed to add water which fixed it. My greatest success was the flavour of everything combined in the final project, everything went together so well! Im proud that I learned how to make food from my background and that it actually tasted good.
