My Edward Scissor Hands Storyboard

Analytical paragraph

Tim burton in Edward scissor hands, used sound in this scene to show us edwards emotions such as anger. the music and sounds made us really understand how he is feeling. the music was really well matched up in this scene with the camera movement of him looking at himself in the mirror with anger. the first time i saw this scene it gave me the feeling that he was about to act with all that anger built up inside of him and it wasn’t going to end well. In my storyboard i wanted to highlight the frustration and anger that Edward feel when he realizes that he has been doing everything Kim has asked him to do but she still likes Jim. this adaptation from film to visual novel taught me that you cant show all the emotions from a film to a visual novel because you dont have sound or camera movement which are key points in showing emotions, but visual novels can get to the core emotions through the directness of the dialogue.
