Personal/Social Competency Reflection
I know that my digital footprint can have both positive and negative consequences, including…so I adjust my actions to…
I know that my digital footprint can lead to many negative outcomes. For example, I could have said something inappropriate online, and it cost me a potential job. But I also know that my digital footprint can be beneficial and can lead to jobs and new relationships. I adjust my actions to make my digital footprint reflect me positively without exposing to much about myself. I also do not allow random people to follow me on social media. Lastly, I do not talk to strangers and control what I say in person and online.
Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include…
Only letting people, I know see my private information and messages. I do not talk to people that are mean or rude to me. I look at things that make me happy and I also browse content that is realistic. Talking to friends and family often. Browsing news to find out what is happing both near me and around the world.
I think my experiences as a digital citizen, such as…. influenced my choice of course/hobbies/ teams because…
As a digital citizen I have experienced many things such as sports, movies, news, and social media. All of these things have influenced my life greatly. Watching tv made me start playing soccer and helped decide which soccer team was my favorite. It also helped me get into sports and other physical activities. It is also what made me get into video games because I was able to see people playing them online. It has also persuaded me to buy items that are not essential but do make my life easier.
