Name of Town: Lerwick

History: Lerwick was discovered in 1752, by a not so known explorer named Sir Nabil Lerwick , hence the name. He was an Australian Explorer who was searching for riches so he could help his sick mother. One day he stumbled across Lerwick a tiny island with lots of animals, trees, and most importantly COAL!!! When he found out how rich this island really was he decided to call it his own. Eventually, he started to hire workers like farmers and miners to aid him in his journey to make Lerwick a functional town.

Media Fluency Reflection

I used Minecraft to build my town. I did it with very minimal challenges. Though I did have a hard time building the houses because i wanted them to all look different.

I originally did have a plan but I added to it during the building process because I wanted really had fun with it.

I did not do too much research. I did this project mostly with my imagination.

I personally wouldn’t use a different program for a project like this because I liked to build everything block by block.
