Critical and Reflective Thinking: I can gather and combine new evidence with what I already know to develop reasoned conclusions, judgements, or plans.

In the book binding assignment, I was able to create ideas and plans for the book which developed my planning and concluding skills. From the book binding project, we were assigned to write a plan for the book that included the materials, dimensions, fabric information, etc. From creating the plan I learned how to connect and communicate ideas through sketches and measurements. When making my plan I had to ensure that it looked neat and organized, as well as make sure the information was accurate and easy to understand. Overall, Arts and Crafts 11 has taught me many core competencies but focusing on the critical and reflective thinking, creating plans for projects before making them has really helped my planning and organization skills and are reasons why I’m proud of my projects.
