In this class, I’ve learned much more and grown my writing skills from the few in-class essays we wrote, poems, reading, and making presentations. The project above was the most fun and creative project we’ve done, and I was pretty proud of it.

From this course: 

I can contribute to and work with feedback to improve my own work; evidence of that is when I received my first essay back, I used the feedback specifically about my intro and thesis to make my next essay better.

I think before dividing tasks among group members making sure everyone gets a fair amount of work. As well as that everyone is happy with their task and if not find ways to make them motivated to do their task.

I remain open-minded as I explore viable options or alternative approaches, when I write journal entries, I try to write about different perspectives/opinions to further my thinking when writing them.

One goal that I have for any future English classes is to work on my tenses when writing since I get them confused sometimes. I can work on this by researching, asking questions, and reading more. I would say this goal works best under Personal Awareness and Responsibility since I had to be aware of my problem so I could work on it. A core competency that I would like to work on is collaboration, specifically getting my opinions in since sometimes I feel uncomfortable sharing what I think.
