Final reflection comparative cultures

For my reflection I chose to use my clay shield project.

I am most proud of this piece because it took some time making it and I thought I did well on the engraving part and it turned out well.

I enjoyed the making of this project because it was fun making it

this project taught me how to make clay and the c method to attach the clay together.

Fitness and conditioning 11/12 Reflection

in fitness class i try my best and work hard. my goals for this class are to increase my bench press and get more muscle. i feel like i am doing well in achieving mg goal and feel good after each workout. i also work out on my own time around 5 times a week.

Core competency reflection

a) I can work out with others and achieve my goal. Me and my peers work together and work efficiently to achieve Are goals.

b) I can take responsibility and hand in my work.

c) I can listen to the teacher. Sometimes I slack off and talk to my peers when I am not supposed to.

  1. My long term fitness goal is to gain muscle and up my bench press.
  2. Every time I work out I feel sore which means that I work hard and try my best.
  3. I am going to continue to work out 5 times a week.

This was our project that we made about the education of the Qing dynasty. I collaborated with my group members a lot during and after class. we had many strengths, one of them was teamwork. we communicated well and discussed ideas as a group. we came up with many ideas and it went well for us.

Final Cooking at Home

today I made pasta with salad and apple pie.

I planned my meal to be tasty, I also planned my meal to be very good looking. I decided to do this dish because I really like pasta and Caesar salad is my favourite salad and I really like apple pie. I just made my most favourite meals to eat for my dishes. thats how I decided to make these dishes. my meal was very tasty and tasted really good. it smelt great as well, especially the apple pie. some similarities are that all my dishes tasted amazing. differences are that some of my dishes are cold such as the Caesar salad and warm things such as the pie and the pasta. I think I did my best and I don’t think it needs to be changed. I showed strength in the following skills, knife skills because I did a lot of cutting and I think I am doing really well in my knife skills. my dish reflects with who I am. I really like pasta so thats why I chose it. my other dishes are also one of my favourites so thats why I chose these dishes.

Brussel sprouts ad.

Brussels sprouts are very good for you and are very healthy. Many people don’t like it, but it is very good. Brussel sprouts are the best when roasted, in my opinion. 

  • Brussels sprouts have a lot of vitamin K, which is necessary for blood clotting and bone health 
  • they’re also have a lot of vitamin C, this helps tissue repair and immune function. 
  •  Brussel sprouts also are high fiber and it helps support regularity and gut health. 
  • Brussel sprouts also have vitamin B6, potassium, iron, thiamine, magnesium and phosphorus.

today I made home made burgers with Caesar salad.

it tasted really good. I decided to do this dish today because I like burgers, and we make it sometimes but I haven’t had any in a while so I made them. first we went to go get some meat. than we seasoned them and made them into burgers, I had little help with that part. after I chopped all the veggies and things that we wanted to put on our burgers. I chopped up some veggies such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce. than I sliced some cheese for our burgers. today I did the dishes and cleaned the table. yes I have been asked to do this task before. I have done this task lots of times. it felt good helping out. no it hasn’t changed because if something needs to be done than we have to do it. I knew I was going to be successful in this task because I do it a lot. I didn’t have much trouble in making this dish but I needed a little help with preparing the meat for the burgers. I will decently make this dish again, because it tasted really good.

today I made pork chops with mashed potatoes and cucumber salad.

for my family tradition we make this dish every easter, but I decided to do it today as well. we make this dish every week or so, and on easter as well. I don’t know when this tradition started, but it has been passed down from family members in the passed and we just kept the tradition going. we do this tradition because every couple days before easter, we cant eat meat because we are Catholic and on Easter Day, during dinner we will have a big feast with meat, and people would come over and we would celebrate it together. it was different this year because no one could come and we had to celebrate on our own. I didn’t have any challenges while making this dish . the final product was defiantly my biggest success in the dish because I thought it looked great and it tasted great as well. I was really proud of making a traditional dish for my family.

Today i made Pizza.

on Fridays we usually have pizza, so today i decided to make pizza which turned out very good and tasted amazing. this week i did the dishes and took out the garbage. yes, i have been told to do this task before. it feels good doing things to help your parents out. its not to much of an impact because this task isn’t very hard to do. maybe slightly but not really. in my house when ever my parents need help with something, we have to do it. it will always be this way and will probably never change. i knew i would be successful in this task because i do this task a lot and i do well doing this task. i didn’t have any challenges while making this dish, everything was coming along together very nicely. yes i will definitely make this again.
