Hello! My name is Laurel I’m 14, and I really love anime and sports. I grew up watching Japanese movies and animes like Wolf children, basically all the studio ghibli movies (howls moving castle is definitely one of my favourites), astro boy, and many MANY others. Some of my favourite animes are My Hero Academia, Assassination Classroom, and Attack On Titan, but I would have to say that my top pick is definitely Haikyuu. I really enjoy watching horror movies even though I am a very paranoid person so they terrify me. If I’m being honest with you I’m a really awkward person at first, but when we get close I’m very uh.. lets just say “energetic” haha. I play both club soccer and club volleyball. I’ve been playing soccer for 8 years, but I’ve only played club for around 5 years as a goalie. this year was my first year playing club volleyball but I’ve played volleyball for about 4 years. My favourite position is libero no questions asked. I love to run around and dive so being in the libero position is the most fun for me. Some things you should know about me are that I have always had a really hard time asking for help, and it’s very difficult for me to focus and stay on task because of my ADHD so I apologize in advance. I’m definitely a visual learner. I have trouble remembering things when they are just said to me so I usually need to write them down. I would have to say my favourite subject is probably math. I’m not going to lie to you I’m not the greatest at it, but with my dad being in construction for 35+ years I grew up around math so it naturally became a part of my life. I am absolute T R A S H at art and socials so that’s something I guess.

ummmm i guess I could say my favourite website is https://www.webtoons.com/en/ I use webtoon literally everyday and I may have a slightly unhealthy obsession with action and romance comics. webtoon has so many amazing comics, genres ranging anywhere from thriller to slice of life! You don’t have to pay anything, yet even by just reading the comics it supports the author! I would 100% recommend the webtoon Eleceed which is my personal favourite. To be honest I could talk day and night about recommendations and stuff so I’m just going to leave it at that.

this quote just makes me feel empowered! like I finally have a purpose in life! I pray to my Barry B Benson shrine everyday, I give it sacrifices (I’m running out of goats tho..)! I worship the floor he walks on, and the sky he flies in…He’s just such an inspiration!
okay okay, all jokes aside (was it really a joke? I’ll yet you decide…) I would say my actual favorite quote would be

Not only is this quote inspiring, but it’s simplicity shines a childlike aura. This gives it innocence and purity which is something I think is overlooked nowadays. I adore this quote because to me it means to go above not only your expectations, but others as well and that is something I strive for.

This picture was taken right before we were about to perform in our band concert. I really wanted to include my other friend so we decided to Photoshop her in (thanks Emily lol). I absolutely love this picture. It has some of my best friends, and I’m also doing something that I love (or about to anyway).
