English Muffins

This was my first attempt to make homemade English Muffins and they turned out really well. Before cooking the dough, I had to let it rise for a few hours. The dough tripled in size! I’m not sure if I have ever made bread before expect the rustic bread in the class, so I was surprised that it raised so much. After setting them on the baking pan, I had to let them sit for thirty minutes. The next morning I made the bread with cheese and egg. Sadly, I didn’t have bacon to add to it but it still tasted supper good as a breakfast sandwich. Best breakfast I’ve had in awhile, it was very filling.
