Lava Cake

This recipe was one I found off the internet, it asked for icing sugar instead of granulated sugar and it turned out well. I shared this with my boyfriend because it was big and meant for two people, it was rich and of course gooey in the inside. I added some icing sugar to the top to give it a better presentation and it turned out well. the recipe asked for similar things to the one you provided, I needed to whip the egg for a long amount of time till it was fluffy. It took a bit longer to cook than the recipe called for because I used a cast-iron dish, it was bigger than the recipe asked for. It tasted so delightful and I would 100% make this again, I love chocolate lava cakes, they are so delicious and it wasn’t hard to make, more just time consuming. I would recommend this dish to anyone that has a sweet tooth and love rich chocolate desserts!

Vanilla Buttercream Cake

This week I have another sweet tooth and wanted to make mini cupcakes but we didn’t own any mini cupcake trays so I decided to make a cake instead. I didn’t want it to be just boring vanilla cake so I decided to add sprinkles in and on top of it. I haven’t made any cakes recently, except the cheesecake one but that’s different so I found it more fun to make than cookies because I make cookies all the time. I only had two eggs left and the recipe asked for three but while eating the cake, I didn’t notice any differences. The cake was dense and sweet. The cake disappeared within three days! The only challenge I had was it was supposed to cook for 30-35 minutes but it ended up cooking for almost an hour because the recipe asked for two layers, meaning two different cake tins but I don’t own two of the same size so I just made it in one bigger one. It still worked out really well and I would make this cake again in a heartbeat. It was delicious!

Mango no bake cheese cake

My family loves cheese cake! I decided to take on a challenge and attempt to make a cheese cake and I didn’t regret that decision. I usually don’t like cheese cake, myself, but this cake was exquisite. First I did the crumb layer of the cake and patted it down. I then mixed whipping cream, cream cheese and mango pure. I also needed white chocolate chips but the grocery store only had cookies and cream chocolate chips so I used those. After that I had to make the gelatin mixture so for that I mixed gelatin powder and warm water together. I added the mixture to the whipping cream mixture and layered it on top of the crumb coat. I had to put it in fridge for at least 12 hours but it ended up being over 24 hours. Before eating it, I added cut mango to the top in the shape of a flower and I put some mango pulp inside it. Everyone enjoyed the cake and it didn’t last long. definitely one of my favorite desserts I’ve ever made! The finish look of the cake makes me feel like a cheese cake I could’ve purchased at a store.
