I very much prefer doing my typing on the computer, so that was appreciate that. I also like doing research projects, I’m not really sure why, but I just enjoy the process of researching and then doing the essay. (I also usually do really well on research essays so I like that part as well.) The most difficult part of this project was finding resources on the recommended websites (on EBSCO and GALE). I actually couldn’t find anything on those sites, so I ended up not using any articles from there and just used a book from our library and 2 other websites. Im able to teach somebody how to use the research databases EBSCO and GALE, as well as how to create ‘professional’ citations. I can educate someone about the writing of an essay and obviously I can teach someone about self-respect, since it was my research topic. Well I’m sure I will need to know how to create citations for future research projects, so I am grateful that I have learned that during this process. I have also gotten practice using the essay format for future essays. I think this was a very useful/informative project and I will use a lot of the info I have learned for future educational purposes.
