What makes us who we are?

I planned for my meal to be pulled pork buns with coleslaw on the side and gluten free brownies for desert. The connections my dish has to my personal identity go back to when I was younger, my mom would make it once in a while and I didn’t really like it at first because the pulled pork would make the bun soggy. The dish reflects how much I’ve grown in terms of trying different foods, I used to be a picky eater and now I’m more open to trying different kinds of foods. The smell of the pulled pork while in the crock pot made me really hungry and tasted really good, overtime the bun started to get soggy and it looked really appetizing. Some changes that could be made would be the way that the pork was put in the crock pot, I put it in the wrong way and it was a bit hard when I tried to pull the pork off the bone. I believe I showed strength in my knife skills because I was I was successful in cutting an onion without cutting myself by keeping my fingers away from the blade of the knife. I was also successful in not crying my eyes out when cutting the onion
