My Bio

Hi my name is Mark, I am in grade 9 and I go to Centennial Secondary School. Some words that describe me is, athletic, outgoing, real easy to talk to and lastly I get lazy sometimes. Some things you should know about me is that I love to play all sorts of sports because I like to get moving but out of school I play two competitive sports and that is swimming and ice hockey, and lastly I like watching the Vancouver Canucks. I learn at my best when “I feel in my zone” or specifically, I feel focused because I had a good morning or a good sleep and I feel like I’m ready to learn, lastly I prefer to express myself by talking about the things I like for example, I like to watch lots of sports with my friends and sometimes we make predictions of the outcome, or (who’s going to score etc.) and yeah I also like to express myself through music, I like to listen to music whether or not I’m doing school work, or preparing for a hockey game, I really just like listening to any type of music, and that’s just a little bit about me, but I hope you have a great day.

This is one of my favorite websites to visit, because I have watched the NHL since I was a little kid, and so when I have free time I like to look at this website watch some game highlights and look at the standings, scores or stats of some of my favorite players to watch in the NHL.

My favorite video

I chose this video of (Quinn Hughes unreal rookie season) because he is so far one of my favorite Canucks player to watch, but like Quinn Hughes he achieved so much in his first year in the NHL, and in my case I want to discover new things and get to know new people in my classes and to keep good steady grades here at Centennial, and honestly I just don’t want to take this weird year for granted and instead make the most of what we get this school year.

My favorite image

This picture is the Vancouver Canucks celebrating after scoring in overtime which only took 11 seconds and a securing a spot in the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs bubble. This picture is meaningful to me because I’ve always been a fan of this team and for this young of a team to make it that far says a lot about what can happen when you believe in each other and shows the bright future for the Canucks. This picture also represents what I watched this summer. I found this picture on their Instagram account.

My favorite quote

“its not whether you get knocked down, its whether you get back up”

– Vince Lombardi.

This quote means a lot to me because it is such a valuable life quote yet it is so simple but it just matches with the way I am and how I deal with problems day to day, because I always make mistakes and always get “knocked” down on myself even though I should look at it differently and improve the way I handle the situation and lift myself back up again.
