here is an example of a trial balance sheet

This uses the core competency of creative thinking by thinking and making sure that you put all the numbers in the right place

Life Saving Measures

There were a lot of things I took away from these presentations but here is just a few of them. We learned how to use a naloxone kit as well as the steps and how to approach someone who is having an overdose. another thing is the fact that you cannot get arrested for having drugs on you when someone is over dosing which is a really good thing to keep in mind when helping people. one last thing is that you can get a naloxone kit from most pharmacies and they will give you one. Having these sessions I think was really helpful and beneficial to me incase something like this happens to me or someone I know. It is a really good thing to know and I think most People should be aware of things like this and know how to prevent it.

Critical and Reflective Thinking Competency Reflection

I can analyze evidence to make judgements.

I can do this by analyzing something for example if someone was overdosing on the street I now Know what to do. I also Know the safe procedures to help properly.

Titration Lab Edublog

What is Titration?

A titration is a common laboratory method of chemical analysis

What was the titration used for this lab?

The titration we used for this lab was to figure out what the average volume of HCL and NaOH as well as the chemical reaction that occurs when the two are mixed

What was the endpoint?

The endpoint was to see the chemicals mixed and to see and pinkish color when they are mixed and to see the volume

How do you know that you have reached to endpoint?

You know when you have reached to endpoint when the solution turns a light pink color when solution is mixed properly

What were your results?

My results were for NaOH the volume was 14.31 on our second trial for the third trial we got 14.21. we got a final result of 14.26 moles of NaOH as an average our initial volume was 0.27 for NaOH

for core competencies i picked critical thinking:

for this, I me and my partner switched recording and putting the hcl and naoh in the solution to find the results

Favorite Recipe

Breakfast Hash

Making And Sharing Reflection

While making this amazing dish we utilized some important tools and different vegetables to help bring it all together. Some of which include, a cast iron, hot pad, an assortment of peppers like jalapeno bell peppers as well as eggs and some potato that we par cooked in a microwave. I would defiantly make something like this for my friends and family because it is fun and really enjoyable to make. The main reason I enjoyed this recipe so much is the fact of how customizable it is. you can add vegetables some design possibilities other people could do is, they could go for an extremely spicy hash. Or, a less spicy more mild one. you can add cayenne pepper habanero jalapeno peppers, essentially whatever you want.

Core Competency Reflection

As an active listener, I notice that I am good at taking in information and turn it into something cool. Like this breakfast hash I made it a bit spicy but not too much.

One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to talk to them and make sure they understand the assignment. If one of them needs help I can help them and hopefully clear things up.

I know the group is working well together when I hear/ see things going well when we work together. Hearing lots of communication so we can all reach our common goal together and as efficiently as possible

One area I want to work towards and get better is When I need to work collaboratively with people I don’t know well, I. this is because I’m not too good at interacting with people i just meet but after like 2-3 days i get to know them and it isn’t that bad.

This is my led cube

some skills i learned was how to make the box in the first place on the computer and send it to the laser

something that went well was the construction of the cube i could have done a little better with the solders but for the most part i think i did ok

what i would do different is maybe try a diff cube size so that i could make the box easier and do less measurements

CPR Reflection

Core Competency Reflection

What was something you learned that you didn’t know or consider before?

A: I learned how to properly use chest compressions and how to use the AED

What is a key takeaway from the Theory or Practical CPR unit?

A: what I took away from this unit is the fact that I left Knowing that I can save a persons life using CPR and an AED

How does this unit connect to the nutrition unit learned previously?

It connects because if you don’t get the right nutrition you may end up getting a heart attack and some other diseases that you want to prevent

I ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener

I showed this by talking to my partner about what we need to do in the situation we were given.

I work with others to achieve a goal.

I worked with my partner to make sure we are doing the CPR right

I can identify my strengths and identify my potential.

I did this by learning and enhancing my knowledge about CPR

I can show a sense of accomplishment and joy. I take pride in my work and myself.

I did this when we were getting the hang of the chest compressions and getting better at CPR

I can ask open-ended questions to gather information.

I intend to ask open ended questions to better understand what I am working on I am working on this because when I don’t understand stuff I don’t really ask questions I am starting to change that

How-To Use A Hyphen Reflection

What was the common purpose of your design? What program did you use to create your design?

the common purpose was to make the design look clean and nice. the program we used was venngage

How did you communicate with one another? How did you listen to one another’s ideas and provide one another feedback?

we communicated with each other through snapchat and email and corrected mistakes we made through word

What were your responsibilities in the group and how did you make sure each member contributed to the design?

my responsibilities in the group was to do a bunch of research for the hyphen like why it as used and things like that we made sure everyone contributed by telling them what to do on the day we got the assignment

How well did you work as a group? Did you use time efficiently together?

I think we worked well as a group and we used our time very efficiently

How were decisions made? Did you face any problems—if yes, how did you solve them?

we first put all of our ideas into a word document and then put those ideas into our infographic we did not encounter any problems during this

Were you satisfied with the final product? How could you improve on this process for next time?

I am satisfied with the final product and maybe next time I would try a different program

that is my self reflection
