Creating a model factory town

Name of town: New Shaxsville

Company name: Shax and Coal

Resources available: Coal, Sugar cane, bamboo, and carrots

Population: 67

Brief History: This town was made in 1813, it was meant to be the next biggest most modern town, but a very long drought came and for many years people could not farm so everyone other then the wealthiest and the slaves had to move away, and now it’s is just a small town.

Media Fluency Reflection

The software that I used was Minecraft, and it was very simple to use and you can choose how detailed and specific you want to be.

I was also able to think of what I wanted to put in my town and research if this was accurate, while still being able to put everything that I wanted into this software.

I didn’t research very much online about what to put in my town but instead used the info that I learned in my socials class and put that in my town, including my novel study, Liddy.

I don’t think that any other site could have done as well as Minecraft could have done because how much detail you can put, such as the many different blocks and design of each block, I also have installed shaders to make the town look even more realistic.
