This picture shows my communication core competency because I clearly communicated my thought process to show why the buttons are in their place. Although it seems messy, it is easily navigable so one is able to find the place for a button.
In discussions and conversations, I help to build and extend understanding by asking questions to show that I am listening to the speaker.
One of the ways I ensure my group is clear on the common purpose is to ask questions to people in the group to make sure that everyone understands what is going on.
One strategy or activity that stimulates my imagination is taking a step back from the activity and coming back to it another time after I’ve gathered my thoughts.
I found working with others at our desks is the most helpful because we can help each other and verify answers without the help of a teacher.
I felt like this because it is at the end of the day and I’m more tired.
I chose critical thinking because you need to think about many things when doing more complicated math problems, and also, being able to think critically can help with the ability to do math.
I show how I can think critically in this class because when given work, I was able to finish the work quickly without errors.
The reason I chose this emoji is because today I woke up very awake but I am slowly getting more tired.
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I listen to music and do my work but take frequent breaks. The reason I listen to music is because having noise in the background helps me focus on my work so I can finish faster. I also take frequent breaks because I like watching some shows in between studying.
When I need to do something with a group I take always take on my role and help others when they need it.
If I am disagreeing with someone, I am able to understand why they have that opinion and I am able to disagree with them without being disrespectful.
If I someone disagrees with me, I am able to defend my opinion respectfully and advocate for my opinion
I am able to look at different aspects of evidence and decide on how to act based on the evidence provided to me.
If I were to Improve on one of the four core competencies I chose, I would like to improve on my ability to analyze evidence and make judgements. The reason I would like to improve on this one is because it would be better if I was less indecisive in acting based on my judgments.
I think critical thinking is very important in factoring because sometimes sometimes you have to think of things you normally wouldn’t have thought of.
