During the research assignment we gave a survey of sports and what is most popular. The core competency’s I used the most and that stood out to me were thinking and communication. In this blog, I will say how I used these competency’s and how it helped me in this assignment.

Thinking

In this project I had to come up with a bases of what we should do our project on, what we should study and make a survey on. I was the one who suggested to do the assignment on sports and it’s because that’s my area of expertise. During the time I came up with ideas and helped with the part on brainstorming the best ways to find what people do for sports and how many people do it. The brainstorming and ideas brings me to the next core competency.

Communication

I feel like in the project one of the main core competency’s I used was communication. In this project, me and everyone in my group brainstormed and after a class of brainstorming and throwing different ideas at each other. By the end of class, we came up with the 5 sub topics of sports that fit with are main question (ex what sports they played and if they played sports). Even after we came up with it and got the results, we talked about the outcome compared to what we thought. My conclusion is that we talked about it throughout, came up with the conclusion and answers we got. This is the reason I chose this as a competency.
