Most Challenging Foods lab

My most challenging foods lab was probably the pizza in a cast iron. This lab was especially difficult for me and my partner we we’re behind and their for rushed. we struggled to kneed the dough and get it to the right size in fact we ripped it in the middle a couple times so we had to kinda patch it up and make a small crust. but eventually we got it onto the cast iron and put are veggies on we put peppers, mushrooms and two types of cheeses i’m pretty sure. we did get it in the oven and I was pretty sure it was going to be burnt by the tine we got it out but it was just a little bit crunchy on the bottom so I think we cooked it perfectly. overall this was a successful foods lab

Favourite Foods Lab

My favourite foods lab was the carrot muffins. The carrot muffins might not have been the hardest thing to make but it’s something a family favourite of sort and it was cool to be able to make the muffins and share the experience with them. I made the carrot muffins with Maddix we we’re more than capable of doing this lab on our own without having to ask questions to our peers. and the muffins did turn out great so since they we’re good I decided to only eat one and give the other two to my grandpa because those are my grandpa’s favourite treats as he says.

Breakfast Home Lab

My breakfast home lab was successful it took me awhile to get the ingredients needed to complete this lab. once I did so I watched a few videos on how to make blueberry pancakes and then I was ready to cook. I think the most difficult part of this lab was pouring the batter into the pan at the right size and not burn them. One of the things I was more successful with was flipping my pancakes and knowing when to flip em I waited to see the bubbles coming through and flipped them and didn’t spill batter everywhere in the pan. I was also careful when adding the ingredients to not over mix because Ms Bolli always says to never over mix because it could ruin your pancakes. overall I think this was a good home lab only took about 45 mins to an hour and made extra for my mom.

Most Succesful Lab

My most successful foods lab was the Meatball on garlic bread . I think this is my most successful lab because I was by myself during this lab and I was able to stay on task and keep up with everyone else and usually when i’m with my partner we’re behind. I was able to mold my meatball just till it is combined and did not over handle it then I put it in the pan to cook the sides to browned although my cast iron took awhile to heat up it worked out. Although I had to ask one of my groups near me a question or two it was mostly an independent lab. Then I put it in the oven for somewhere around 10 mins and then when I took it out to make it look nice I put it on the garlic bread and cleaned off my plate and then that’s how I got a nice presentation. I think what made this my most successful lab was doing it on my own.
