Reflection:

I was able to identify the problem with the first electromagnets easily. They were not very strong. The solution was to use insulated wire so more wire could be wrapped around the medal carrying more charge. I was able to build my project from a backwards design by researching and taking notes on my checklist. I was able to dream of the future where electromagnets will power rockets and make hover cars with similar technology to the maglev trains they now propel. I am satisfied with the results of my design and solutions. In the future, I would would have asked more questions when Mr Basso was there to help.

My Digital Footprint

Reflection Digital Footprint

One of the things that is in my digital footprint is my Instagram account where I post my own reviews of rap albums.  This is an example of constructive criticism.   I try to offer well-reasoned opinions about albums, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly way. 

Also, I am cautious about sharing personal information in all three of my Instagram accounts.  I make sure my location is turned off and the only personal information available is my name. 

If I were to post or like something offensive, that would be an embarrassment to my family.  As well, it would hurt my chances of getting into post secondary school and getting a job in the future.  It is important to be careful with what you share online. 

Poetry Anthology

I began this project by choosing the lyrics from a rap song that I enjoy.  The one of the song’s themes was about changes.  I made this the theme of my project and I began my search for five other poems that were about change.  I made a power point and choose pictures that represented each poem.  I like how the colors and pictures go together in my visual representation.  For next time, I would keep in mind the poetic devices when choosing the poems because it was hard to find them.  I learned that I am good at understanding poetry and music from this project.
