The game I chose to play was Uno, when I first started playing I wasn’t amazing at it but I was still winning the majority of the games we played. I started off with kind of just guessing what I thought people would do but every games day I’d get a little more strategic with how I was playing and what strategies i could use to win more. I would try and strategically read peoples expressions and body language to guess their next move or if they have any good cards. When I started thinking more strategically about what cards to use I started winning a lot more but I still have to work on my strategy a lot more. Uno isn’t the type of game people would usually think need a strategy but it kind of does, especially when the people you play with have really good “poker faces” while playing. I learned that pretending to have really bad cards makes people assume they are going to have an easier time winning, which would give me an advantage. The people I played with were good at playing but they were easy to guess what their next move was making it easier for me to win. I think my strategies changed a lot

What hypothesis did you come up with for your research (survey) assignment? What are your findings?
Our hypothesis was “People who listen to music in class tend to have higher grades compared to people who don’t. ” and we found that people who were allowed to listen to music did have a higher GPA proving our hypothesis to be right
What core competencies did you demonstrate with this assignment?
I showed communicating during this assignment, “i can understand and share information about a topic of interest in a clear, organised way” i showed this by helping come up with the hypothesis and questions and by writing the conclusion. I also showed collaborating, ” I take on roles and responsibilities in a group; I do my share.” i showed this throughout the whole assignment while my group and I were all working together to do the charts i decided to also do the conclusion.
