During this assignment, I struggled to choose which lyrics I was going to write down. However, I decided to choose lyrics that would create a strong meaning. I chose the words and drawings by brainstorming different words/things that correlate to the meaning of the lyrics. This was easy for me because of my understanding of the topic. While completing this assignment, I was highly interested and I enjoy learning about important topics such as this.
This year my photography hobby has taken off. I have developed many new skills and produced many great images.

I can work with others to achieve a common goal and can evaluate our group processes and results. During this assignment, a couple of my classmates and I collaborated to achieve each of our own hard light photographs. This involved us gathering tools such as the backdrop, flashlight, and a divider. We shared tips with each other and reviewed each other’s work before submitting it on TEAMS. This was a fun assignment and I developed new skills throughout it.
During this lab, my classmate and I collaborated with each other to identify the different blood vessels and parts of the sheep heart. We did this by using diagrams of the heart, taking turns examining the heart and discussing where they could be, and asking our teacher questions. Eventually we were able to place the labelled sticks in the correct areas of the heart. Next time I would study the diagram more before the lab.
I feel I did well this semester. My studying skills and work habits were very good throughout this course. I personally loved the finance unit the most because I found it interesting and useful. Throughout the semester, I asked questions and received help from Mr. Sun when I needed it. My hatred for math slowly faded and I started to realize that math could be fun when I had Mr. Sun in grade 11 and now 12. Mr. Sun helped me with a lot and showed me that I can do math. Shoutout to the best teacher ever!!! This course was very fun and I learned a lot of useful strategies. I am really glad I chose to continue on with math after grade 11.
I chose to reflect on collaboration because I feel that it is the one I have worked on most in Social Justice 12. We do many group/class discussions and assignments which allow us to view other perspectives and appreciate other’s ideas. When I did the ‘60’s Scoop Focus’ assignment with a classmate, I really appreciated her ideas and we ended up creating a solid project.
I felt that I understood the first unit better than the second one. Specifically, I felt confident with the compound interest questions and using the TVM solver. I felt I learned a lot of useful knowledge during these units that I can apply in my future. I feel as if I can save better and make better investments in the future. I prepared for the tests by doing the review package that Mr. Sun provided us with and used my notes to study. I would study more for the second unit if I could go back and do it again.

I enjoyed the labs the most out of this course. I would appreciate more field trips, although there was nothing that I didn’t like. I improved on studying. If I could do this again, I would study even more. I plan to take Biology 12 next year.
I demonstrated creative thinking skills during this project by having a zig zag stitch showing in the neckband. At first, it was a mistake but then I decided to turn my mistake into something creative and unique. I collaborated with others during this project. I am very happy with my result.
