AAAA Sr Boys Provincial Championships start this Wednesday night at LEC against the Prince George Polars! Game starts at 7:45!
The Centennial boys basketball team go into the AAAA Provincial Championship tournament with the #2 seed. This will be an amazing tournament, and the team would welcome as much support as possible as they pursue their season goal. Grade 9 Girls Basketball team finishes with an 8th place finish in the Provincials! Congratulations to Coach Dave Hill and the grade 9 girls for a great season! There is a bright future for this group!
The girls finished with an 8th place finish at the Provincials, which is remarkable for a team that have only come together the last 4 months. The girls had a strong season and making it to the Provincials in their first season was a big accomplishment for them.
Our Centaurs faced teams that had been playing along side one another for years and despite that – the scores were close. Blessing Ibewke received one of the All-Stars awards. A big thank you to Mr. Hill and Nikki Rampuri for taking time out of their schedule to coach the Grade 9 girls.

The girls had an amazing game today. The first game was against Highlanders 1pm at Heritage Woods. The score was 38-28 for us. Amelia Perry had 14 points. Blessing Ibekwe had 8 points and had an amazing game defensively. Isabella Banco assisted 10 baskets.

Junior Boys fall to Holy Cross by a score of 64 – 49. Next game Tuesday against Handsworth
The Centaurs will play Handsworth on Tuesday at 11:30am for 11th place in the province. GO CENTAURS!
Senior Boys Team team played in front of huge crowd Sunday Night at LEC. Team not happy with result, but shift focus to BC Championship Tournament.
