GR9 Girls Basketball compete hard, but lose to a very talented Unity Christian team from Chilliwack. Up next, the girls take on KLO from Kelowna at 3:00pm.

The girls versed the top ranked team ‎Unity Christian and lost 47-30. Unity Christian have been playing together for five years compared to the Centaurs which have only been together for one season. They came back in the fourth quarter with 18 points. Blessing Ibekwe and Aylee Maconachie played strong defensively and offensively. Jillian Tobiagon was not letting down and managed to collect on the fouls and get 4 points for the team. The crowd found the game to be a big win. Next game 3pm at Heritage versing KLO.

Grade 9 Girls Basketball team wins big in opening game at BC Championships! @centennial43 @cssaasd43

The girls had an amazing game today.  The first game was against Highlanders 1pm at Heritage Woods.  The score was 38-28 for us.  Amelia Perry had 14 points. Blessing Ibekwe had 8 points and had an amazing game defensively.  Isabella Banco assisted 10 baskets.

Centaurs bring home medals!

Johnathan and Chassetty Berkowski competed last weekend in the BC Winter Games in Fort St John. It was quite an exciting opportunity for the both of them. They both won medals in Special Olympics Speed Skating. Johnathan received 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, while Chassetty received 3 gold and 2 silver medals.
