Contexto is my favorite website because it is a fun educational game that is enjoyable to play and teaches you to use your brain in a different way . Contexto is fun to play when my work is done or to play with friends in free time at school.

This is my favorite video because it shows a sea turtles point of view and in the video it shows other sea turtles swimming. This video shows you the way that turtles swim and oceanography.

This is my favourite quote because it shows the idea of standing up for yourself with confidence. “Grow a backbone” means that you should not shy away from difficult situations or fear confrontation. “Trust your gut” shows the importance of self-awareness in decision-making.”Know when to strike back” reminds us that we need to defend ourself in necessary at times. The comparison to a snake shows that we should not be aggressive or mean to someone else unless we need to. This quote encourages us to be assertive and respect people we needed.

justification

I think using a GIC was right because it guarantees our moneys locked away. Given the fact that a GIC is very safe it insures that the money will be put away for 3 years.

1. How did you find working with your group?

I found it not difficult because everyone had a voice and participated.

2. How did you contribute to the group? And how did others in the group contribute to your learning?

I gave my group ideas and my group was good at listening to them . I felt like everyone contributed to helping out eachother.

3. Did you use any other the solutions proposed by your group? Why or why not?

We did not use any other soloutions because we had already found that worked.

4. How would you rate your ability to collaborate with others in your group on a scale of 1-4

I would rate my ability to collaborate with others in my group a 3 out of 4 because I feel like I am easy to work with but I do not voice all my opinions.

I know the group is working well together when I hear/ see people sharing there opinions and voicing what they disagree and agree about.

If there is disagreement within the group, I find it helpful to see both opinions and discuss them among the group.

How did you do? 

I think my group put a lot of hard work and time into our presentation and i think our effort showed. We took a lot of time to prepare and carefully went over or script.I feel like the theme and plot of our script was very funny and entertaining. Annaliesa worked hard to get props, costumes etc.

What were your strengths and areas for growth?

I think our strengths were making up a fun plot and we made it enjoyable for the class. I think we needed to work on our pronunciation and being a bit more confident.

What did you learn?

I learned how to work with people and how to think outside of the box. My group was very easy to work with and I learned how to share my ideas better.

Core Competency: Collaborative Work

My group was easy to work with because we were positive, open to learn, and felt comfortable sharing ideas. I helped my group with pronunciation and script, Zin helped with props, Annaliesa helped with script and costumes. I think I learned from this and will use skills going forward.

Critical and Reflective Thinking

I believe the French revolution was justified, the French revolution started because the king was not being fair to the third estate because they had to pay all the taxes, so they felt like they needed to take action. The king wasn’t doing his job because on the day of the Bastille (July 14, 1789) he wrote “Nothing” in his diary but outside people are breaking the Bastille was by their hands. Some people had to be made an example out of and it had to be the king and queen who caused and did nothing to stop the oppression of their people. I think the French revolution brought those who starved to death while the queen said “let them eat cake” justice. I feel like I can analyze evidence to make judgments, i am not afraid to make bold claims and write what I feel.

1. I am going to try to stay on task with my assignments, sometimes I find it hard to stay focused but this year I have made it one of my goals.

2. This year I am going to try to make more time to study, I do fairly well with my grades but i play alot of sports so I would like to make more time to study.

3. I will try to take more classes that i find challenging to push myself.
