The safety methods involved in this recipe were for can opener and oven safety. The methods we used involved putting the crust in the fridge and whipping cream. The nutrition was 5/10 because it was a sugary dessert, but it wasn’t as bought as something store bought. One of the challenges was whipping the cream without spilling it everywhere, and one of the strengths was the bits of pineapple bits mixed in the whipped cream that added a subtle extra texture and flavour. Overall the meal did meet product standards with the fluffy whipped cream, brown crumbly crust, and cold temperature. Clean-up was quick, we just had to wipe down the counters, and wash the measuring utensils because we only used one pan for the pie itself. I will be making this again because it’s my favourite dessert I’ve made so far.
