I like working with others and I also work really well with others because its lots of communication and communication always helps me work better especially with others. I used a lot of communication in this project because it includes lots discussing while coming up with some answers and results. I also tried my best to communicate with my partner to understand their ideas so we were able to put our answers together and come up with a better one or even more.
I know the group is working well together when our group is actually getting a lot done and getting along together nicely. i can also tell if it’s working is if everyone is getting a chance to speak their opinions and everyone is respecting one another.
Some ways I select images and words to create impact for different audiences is by asking others questions about it so I can get multiple opinions. I also try to do lots of research.
When I need to boost my mood or re focus, I will often stop and take a few breaths, check my phone for a couple minutes of go on a small walk. To boost my mood I will talk to a friend or eat a small snack.
One goal I have for myself going forward is to make sure all my homework is handed in and that I always pay attention in class.
When I need to boost my mood or re-focus I take a few breaths and take a small break for a couple minutes. Sometimes I will go on a small walk around the school or I’ll check my phone.
Some of the ways I like to build and maintain relationships are by being respectful to others and talking to them a lot and if I ever need help or I’m confused I will ask for help and that creates communication so it helps us communicate more.
Examples of where I communicate clearly and purposefully can be seen when we are doing group work because I make sure they understand me so nobody’s confused. Other times I do is when I’m asking for help to make sure I understand clearly.
An example of something I have spent a lot of time learning about is Trigonometry. At first there was a lot and it was confusing but after a while I just started to get the hang of it and it became pretty easy.
One lesson that stimulated my thinking about the importance of CPR was that there’s actually a lot more reasons people need to use cpr on others than I thought. I can describe how learning about CPR relates to my life because my grandparents could suffer with something and since I know how to do cpr if anything happens to them I could help my doing cpr on them. When I need to boost my mood or re-focus, I go for a quick walk or I fidget with something.
I used critical thinking in this lab. I used it in many ways like when it wasn’t working I figured out that I have to put the metal strips diagonal not straight up. I made sure I used the feedback I got, like if my teacher told me I was doing something wrong I would fix x it until I got it right. Something I would do to improve next time, is to make sure that I 100% know what I’m doing so I don’t mess anything up.
Internet safety is very important because you never know what can happen. You should always be careful on social media, but I’d say to be extra careful on snapchat because there are many things that are unsafe, like how people can see your location, but only if you don’t turn it off. But if you leave it on people can see your exact location. If it’s just friends then you shouldn’t have to worry, but if its random people who can see it, it’s not the safest because you never know what they might/can do. On the other hand, some people just don’t care and let everyone see their location not realizing how unsafe it is that anyone can find out where you live/where you are, which is not safe at all. There are also lots of creepy and weird people on snapchat, so I’d say to just make sure your location is off for everyone and only on for specific people, or completely off if you’re uncomfortable with random people seeing it because letting anyone find out exactly where you are by looking at your location is not safe at all. Another unsafe thing is, whatever you say anyone can screenshot, and they can even edit it which you probably don’t want. There’re also ways people can secretly screenshot chats/snaps, so if you send someone something they can screenshot it without telling you. Also, if you text someone and even if you delete it, even if it was only there for a couple seconds, it will always be there. Anything you say over text will always be there deleted or not. What I’m saying, is that just always make sure you’re being careful of what you put on the internet because you never know what can happen and what it can lead to. And always make sure you know everyone that you add and/or just be careful on who you add because you never know what can happen. Steps to stay safe on social media is just making sure you know everyone who follows you and on snapchat make sure only people you know can see your location and personal things like that.
