Internet safety is very important because you never know what can happen. You should always be careful on social media, but I’d say to be extra careful on snapchat because there are many things that are unsafe, like how people can see your location, but only if you don’t turn it off. But if you leave it on people can see your exact location. If it’s just friends then you shouldn’t have to worry, but if its random people who can see it, it’s not the safest because you never know what they might/can do. On the other hand, some people just don’t care and let everyone see their location not realizing how unsafe it is that anyone can find out where you live/where you are, which is not safe at all. There are also lots of creepy and weird people on snapchat, so I’d say to just make sure your location is off for everyone and only on for specific people, or completely off if you’re uncomfortable with random people seeing it because letting anyone find out exactly where you are by looking at your location is not safe at all. Another unsafe thing is, whatever you say anyone can screenshot, and they can even edit it which you probably don’t want. There’re also ways people can secretly screenshot chats/snaps, so if you send someone something they can screenshot it without telling you. Also, if you text someone and even if you delete it, even if it was only there for a couple seconds, it will always be there. Anything you say over text will always be there deleted or not. What I’m saying, is that just always make sure you’re being careful of what you put on the internet because you never know what can happen and what it can lead to. And always make sure you know everyone that you add and/or just be careful on who you add because you never know what can happen. Steps to stay safe on social media is just making sure you know everyone who follows you and on snapchat make sure only people you know can see your location and personal things like that.

Some of my preferred strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced online presence include keeping things to myself, making sure I know everyone who follows me and not talking to random people.
Some of the ways I work to build and maintain online relationships are being nice to everyone, not talking to random people and making sure my friends and I are safe.
