For me personally, I don’t really believe in this type of stuff. However I can see why some people believe and are interested. I feel like the belief in astrology and fortune-telling can provide comfort and reassurance for some people. It could also be entertaining as well as it could be a fun activity. I don’t really know much of superstitions, but have heard of some that are common around me. For example, opening an umbrella inside could be considered bad luck.
