I made a very classic basic mac and cheese baked with breadcrumbs. I started with the cheese sauce. I mixed a little onions and bacon into the sauce and mixed it on low fame until it became a bit thick, then set it down to get ready with the pasta. Fortunately, I had pasta left over in the fridge from last night and all I needed to do was boil it again for a few minutes. When the pasta was done I mixed the sauce with it. Beforehand I put whole wheat bread into the toaster for the breadcrumbs, took it out of the toaster and used a butter knife to scrape the crumbs onto the top layer of the pasta. I planned on putting it in the oven so I sprinkled some flour onto the bottom so it didn’t stick to the baking dish. I sprinkle a midge of flour to the top then put it in the oven on broil. for about 5 minutes. The macaroni didn’t come out the way I wanted it to, It was a bit dry all throughout. I wanted it to be crisp at the to and goo like underneath, although it kept that ratio of crisp and gooey the bottom was still too dry for my taste. I think I had it in the oven for too little and set the temperature too low.
