scones

Today in class I made golden brown,, flaky, fluffy scones. I really enjoyed making them because I learned that sifting the dry ingredients first will make them have no lumps and mix the ingredients better. The method for this recipe is flour mixture, quick bread and biscuit method. I would have put berries in them but I feel like that would take away from learning how to make them perfectly. The goal was to have them the same size and golden brown which i’m happy with how mine turned out. overall this was a successful lab and I would totally make these scones again but maybe next time with berries in them.
