About the Project

The project for our group was debating on why polygamy should be legal. we had to gather information and write a script. On presentation day the other group that is against polygamy present their main points then we do as well. at the end we counter each others main points.

Core Competency Reflection

I can ask and respond to questions to be an active, supportive listener.

  • I can listen to people and try to elaborate and help others or at least try.

I can analyze my own beliefs and consider views that do not fit with them

  • when I make decisions I tend to think about others as well when it comes to sharing work load or discussing about anything.

I can imagine and work towards change in myself and in the world.

  • I would like to become a better person every second of my life. Once I receive feedback on how to do things better, I try my best.

I can find it easy to be part of a group.

  • I would like to become better at working with groups because I tend to procrastinate a lot more. I will achieve this goal by being more organized and to make a schedule to keep myself organized.

Curricular Competency Reflection

I made ethical judgements by thinking about the law and the side effects of polygamy. I first looked at the law and researched on why it became illegal. I also looked at different countries where polygamy is legal and looked to find the side effects there. I kept reasonable limits in my mind as well just incase if they should be illegal.
